Message from Conference Chair

DirectorI am honoured and pleased to welcome you to the website of the International HRD conference (Mauritius), 2013.

This Conference, a first in its kind in Mauritius, will be articulated around the overarching theme of “ Excellence in HRD for Sustainable Growth”, with sub-themes exploring a panoply of HR concerns and streams.

It is meant to be a platform to encourage a sharing of some of the international best practices and new trends in the field of HRD. As a high profile, interactive forum, it will enable participants-- national, regional and international-- to widen their horizons in emerging issues of paramount importance in maintaining productivity and innovation and in weathering the negative effects of economic turbulences and competition.

It will also provide international exposure to local HR professionals and pave the way for networking.

I am looking forward to meeting you in Mauritius on 17th and 18th October 2013 and to sharing a most pleasant, interesting and fruitful conference.

R Auckloo
